Hi Kate...I can't agree with you more. Keeping that heart pumped-up is very important to maintain general health. The veins need to be flushed and all the organs blushed with fresh blood. With exercise, the lower heart beat can be attained.

Of course the mind need to be nourished too. A complete yoga practice to keep the mind healthy is the other half of the equation.
